Hampton Inn & Suites Roanoke-Downtown

This hotel comes with breakfast and they do a very good job. Has parking. It has nice rooms with the air conditioners that don't freeze you. But there are two other reasons to stay there. The excellent everything is walking distance location. Easy access from airport. And most important: the employees. Excellent and professional. Enjoy your stay.

I had a great stay, the staff was very helpful and kind. I by mistake left 3 pairs of important shoes and a water bottle in my room and Celeste really helped me through getting my belongings to me, she rocks! Thank you!

I don't enjoy having to get my parking ticket stamped at the front desk every time I leave the parking garage. The breakfast was nice and the people at the front desk were friendly. Good location downtown with good view of Mill Mountain on the south side with a balcony room

We had an issue with the pricing of the room. The desk clerk could not find the same rate that we found on hilden.com so we had to stand there and book it through Hilton not a third-party app in order to get the better rate Her room needs a little maintenance but otherwise a pleasant experience

I’ve stayed here twice and had really pleasant experiences. The rooms are nice and very clean, and breakfast is great and easy to get to. You definitely get what you’d expect from a Hampton Inn. What really makes this a five-star hotel, though, is the location. You’re within walking distance of so many amazing small businesses and boutiques, and the area around the hotel is beautiful too. I’d definitely stay here again. Some rooms have a not-so-great view of the parking lot, like the one I had the first time, but others have a beautiful view of the Roanoke Star—so be sure to ask if the view is important to you.

The room was clean but it was very musty. I could not get the temp in the room to cool down. I had the thermostat down to 65 & it never got below 68. The room was warm & very musty. Everything else was good. Customer service & employee were very professional

Great location. Hotel was clean and great staff working the front desk. My phone died and I was able to get a physical key quickly so I would be able to use the elevator and access my room. The security is great here, with the front doors locked quickly in the evening and a room key required for entry, in addition all access to the rooms requires a room key to make the elevator move, further enhancing the security of the property.

Top notch all the way. We stayed here while visiting family. The room was really large, giving us space for our daughter to play and have fun. Also close walking distance to everything.
